Yoozoo Games founder, Lin Qi, died on Christmas Day and police name a colleague as its core suspect.
A senior executive colleague of the late Yoozoo Games founder, Lin Qi, has been arrested on suspicion of involvement with the billionaire’s death. Lin Qi passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 39 after being rushed to the hospital eight days prior due to a mysterious illness. The police have attributed poisoning as the lead cause of death.

Qi founded Yoozoo Games in 2009 and was the company’s chairman and chief executive. Qi was also one of the executive producers listed with Netflix on the adaption of The Three-Body Problem, a Chinese sci-fi trilogy series. Reports of infighting within the company may have been the reason behind the poisoning of Qi and reports suggest that tea may have been the vessel for the poison ingestion.
