What’s coming in December 2020’s PlayStation Plus lineup?

There’s a new PlayStation Plus lineup coming this December.

Starting December 1, new games will be available to all PlayStation Plus members on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This includes the explosive Just Cause 4, 3v3 shooter Rocket Arena, and the brand-new Worms Rumble.

Worms Rumble‘s releasing as a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 title is the latest Worms game in the long-lasting franchise. Unlike past games, there is no turn-based combat and it follows a real-time approach. It’ll be interesting to play this different take on Worms, as it’s going to be much faster, resulting in a lot more action.

Just Cause 4, a PlayStation 4 title (which will be playable on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility), didn’t receive the best reception when it launched back in 2018. It received mainly average reviews due to the technical issues but is still said to offer a fun experience. After two years, I’m hoping the game is more stable, so I’ll be sure to give it a shot. If you enjoyed Just Cause 3, then you’ll most likely find fun out of the fourth entry to the series. It’s worth noting, if you play on PlayStation 5, you will notice much better performance.

The final game you can grab as early as tomorrow is Rocket Arena. The game released back in July this year, however, it saw the player-base drop rather quickly. Critics praised the cartoonish art style and the fun to play characters but said it couldn’t keep their attention long enough. With the game dropping on PlayStation Plus, let’s hope it can be given another chance with possibly thousands more people giving it a shot. Rocket Arena is a PS4 title but again can be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility.

So, what do you think of December’s PlayStation Plus lineup? If you didn’t grab Bugsnax last month then you still have the chance to claim it as well, if you managed to grab a PS5, that is.
