Capcom has come forward notifying fans that Lady Dimitrescu, the tall vampire woman that everyone seems to fawn over, is pronounced “Dee-Muh-Tressk.”
During the latest Resident Evil Showcase, its host, Brittney Brombacher, dropped the pronunciation of the last name of Alcina Dimitrescu, better known as Lady Dimitrescu, something fans hadn’t actually heard in her debut appearance.
As it turns out, as much as most people expected her name to be pronounced “Dih-Muh-Tress-Koo,” even people a part of The Gander, it’s actually pronounced “Dee-Muh-Tressk.” Most of the fans probably saw this as coming from out of left-field.
While you could argue that Brombacher is also saying a presumption of the name, the fact she is the presenter of the event leads us to believe she didn’t go into it blind and had previously asked or was told how to pronounce the name.

Whatever the case may be, people really don’t care how to say it – they just want to see more of the 9’6″ vampire lady.
