Animal Crossing is adding new custom fireworks, interactive props, and more.
Starting July 30, Animal Crossing players will have access to new features including custom fireworks, new interactive props, and with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, access to a new character, and “dream islands.”
The Nintendo Switch Online membership will also allow users to utilize the new Island Backup Restoration Device. According to the official site, Nintendo states that the device will allow users to “enable the new island backup service, which automatically uploads the island and user save data to the internet at certain times. If your Nintendo Switch system is lost or damaged, you may be able to recover your island paradise as long as you’ve enabled island backup.”
While they did not specify an exact time for the US launch, on the Japanese Nintendo site, they did state it would be available at 10 AM Japan Standard Time and if they follow the previous update launches, it should be available everywhere simultaneous to that release.
MORE FROM JUSTICE: INTRIGUING INFORMATION FROM IKUMI NAKAMURA
The end of the trailer tantalizingly teases the next free update, which will be available this fall. A picture of a known character, Jack, is seen in the announcement. In previous Animal Crossing games, Jack brought with him the Halloween event where players could trade candy for spooky-themed objects. Fans will be happy to know that Jack will return this game. What surprises will be in store this time?
